Lakeview
Lakeview is the County Seat of Lake County. It has a population of about 3,000 and is known as "The Tallest Town in Oregon" because it sits at 4,800' above sea level, higher than any other town in Oregon.

Summer Lake
Summer Lake is situated halfway between Lakeview and Bend, making it a good stopping place to stretch one's legs. With a wayside and easy access to the Summer Lake Wildlife Refuge, there is plenty to see in this small roadside town. The town itself is in two sections one mile apart, making it unique.
